Feeling Plush

Fabric is woven into every aspect of our lives. It's present in the clothes we choose to wear, the curtains on the windows, even the chairs we sit on have fabric incorporated into their design.

For this task, we want you to take inspiration from a chair we will assign you. Use the patterns, textures and elements in this piece of furniture to inspire your outfit.

Your final design will be showcased standing on the seat that inspired it.

Keep in mind that this Project Runway has a different structure/rule set compared to other long term games you may have seen or participated in. See the full outline of how this longterm works here. A few important rules to note are:

• the different deadlines for established vs up and coming designers mean that there are two different submission countdowns. If you aren't sure which group you are in, see where you have been placed on the meet the designers page; and

• the confidence penalty for showcasing multiple looks for feedback - you can showcase more than one look, but you are guaranteed to lose points in this area of your score. See the rules for more info.
