Fabric is woven into every aspect of our lives. It's present in the clothes we choose to wear, the curtains on the windows, even the chairs we sit on have fabric incorporated into their design.

For this task, designers had to take inspiration from a chair, and use the patterns, textures and elements in this piece of furniture to inspire their outfit.

Snawl was our guest judge for this week.
Peeta
First off, I would like to say that I was thoroughly impressed as soon as I looked at this. As someone who has played CC for a while now, I did not expect this from you. You can clearly see the texture of the banana which screams huge attention to detail. You have also used the bow in an effective way because we don't see it often from the front and same situation with the scarf. The scarf looks like the banana peel itself with the banana inside which others and myself can say the creativity is there. Personally, I would have chosen a different hairstyle but other than that, amazing work!

This whole look has a flowiness to me, speaks to the way the banana peel falls on the seat you were assigned. I absolutely love the scarf in this look. It feels like you captured the essence of an an aging banana skin.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how you got the flicked up sleeves, and so that has kept me coming back to this look over and over again, as I am intrigued and stumped.
I don't know if the pastel white skin works harmoniously with your design as it makes your model look washed out, but I am grateful that you took the advice to darken the hair.
I can't wait to see what else is to come from you this season.

I feel like I can taste and smell this outfit when I look at it. It’s brilliant how you found fabric that more or less replicates the frills and lines on the chair. Some of the chairs this week require a simple, sultry elegance and you delivered it strongly. If I’m forced to criticize harder, I suppose you could have made a more daring silhouette on your top half. Besides that, you took this week’s most difficult chair and used it to design something fresh, fruity, and fabulous! I hope to see this type of resourcefulness from your fellow competitors.

Personally, I enjoy this outfit. I am a sucker for hats and to me, the hat works here. It's detailed and the construction of it is great. What makes the hat so great is that the shading of it matches the shading of the bench legs.. so nice work on the attention to detail. I haven't seen many designers use that top because you can't use a bottom with it. However, it all works because it's not too cluttered. The point of making an amazing outfit is that if you have too much going on in the outfit itself, then the neck up should be simple and vice versa. Pay attention to my critique this week throughout the season, it will improve your work as a designer.

To me, the chair showcases a practical construction with a sense of royalty. While your design is interesting, it falls short of what it could have been in my view.
I feel like you got so caught up in worrying about the colours of the chair for this task and ensuring your looks wasn't too "Christmasy' that you missed the opportunity to drill into the elegance that this chair represents. Yes, the green and red are a hard combination to use together, but there is also a strong grey presence in the chair - perhaps it would have been smart to incorproate this more heavily into the design.

Your assigned chair is very formal, high class, and prestigious. It begs for an outfit that matches that conservative air, and I think you delivered successfully. I’m not sure if your bottom is supposed to be pants or a dress, but either way, using a very narrow shape was really smart. You understand composition better than most of your fellow competitors. While you are being a little too heavy on the red, I find myself enjoying your choice of fabrics nonetheless. I like the hat too. This outfit doesn’t knock me back with excitement, but it’s smart and serviceable. I’m a fan!

Ashlyn, Ashlyn, Ashlyn, what can I say.. futuristic fashion at its finest. The detailing is definitely there although I would like to see all of it. The scarf is blocking what's behind that masterpiece. I would have loved to see what the outfit looked like without the scarf. Maybe you could have included minor details of that color which I understand is the moon and legs of the chair. But if you incorporated it in such a way where there is more to see, then this outfit would be unstoppable. It is a hurdle but you can overcome it. Try not to cover up the outfit if it's busy from the neck up and you should be good to go!

I love this look. It gives me a futuristic kawaii punk vibe, and I think this could translate really well onto the streets of Harikuju. While I don't know if your look speaks directly to the celestial stylings of the chair, I think you've still captured something spacey, while still remaining high fashion through the use of the facemask and the dangle accessory coming down from it. My only major critique is that I don't know if you needed the bow at all. While its cute, I don't know if it adds to the look at all.

With one of the weirdest chairs to use, you did a great job combining two colours that don’t normally agree with each other. The scarf, necklace, chest icons, and belt all come together well. Personally I think more gray and less brightness would’ve served you better, seeing as gray takes up about 30 to 40 percent of the chair. I also think this outfit is stronger without the head accessories. This is an issue you have in short-terms too; almost every time you use a head accessory, I’m left wishing you didn’t. You are a talented conceptual designer, and I wish you had a little more faith in your process. Less is often more

This look is amazing. I LOVE that you did not over-accessorize which is key to a simple chair like this. When you see a chair like this, you think "How can I make this more out there?" But that is a trap. The key to making an amazing outfit is to not over-accessorize if it's not needed and in this case it wasn't.. so kudos to you for that! I love this pose because it's unique. Listening to my feedback about removing the chest accessory and adding something less made this outfit much more powerful because in your case, less is more. What I like about this look is that you can clearly see what chair you were given. Great work!

I love the way that you have incorporated he stripes into this piece. It's simple, but cool and speaks to an air of confidence. While I find your brown jacket is quite heavy, I love the way the material sits when your model poses in this way.
Perhaps a lighter colour choice would have helped convey the feeling of a warm breeze, something I would associate with sitting on this Deck chair by the pool on a hot Summer's day.

I think this is stunning. It is a very Joelings outfit: a simple jacket wrapped around a more intricate underlayer with bold colours. It’s familiar, but it’s still shocking enough to be original. You also had a very difficult chair, but you didn’t let it phase you, instead you took its most noteworthy aspect (the stripes) and ran with it. I’m always a sucker for commercial fashion, and I feel like this could run in an ad campaign right now. However I’m not a big fan of your shade of brown, it looks a little too… poopy? If that makes sense? A lighter OR darker shade would’ve looked better. The belt too could’ve been red or white instead of brown. Those flaws stop this from being my favourite look of the week, however it’s still a monumental design in my book. Great work.

The presentation is great to look at. However, with such a heavy outfit.. the hair makes it even heavier. From the neck up, the look is gorgeous but if the hair was shorter, it would have made the entire look come together. Also, the makeup wasn't needed.. especially the green. The texture of the jacket is a bit rough looking. If it was more smoother like the sofa, the look would have been top notch. On a positive note, the use of the pants was incredible because the texture matches the bottom of the sofa. I love a designer who pays close attention to detail and if you look closely at the fabric choices, they both match. Overall, this is a great look. Looking forward to seeing what you bring this season.

I love this outfit. I think you have the perfect balance for the bright green to the dark maroon to provide contrast without one colour becoming too overbearing. Peeta laughs at me whenever I choose to style an outfit with those pants, but honestly, if you are working with gold they can be an amazing addition to an outfit, even if they don't have much movement for a pose.
I feel the green eyeshadow distracts from the outfit and keeps trying to pull my focus from the bight green jacket up to the eyes, and doesn't help make the outfit the last thing I remember. The bronze toned eyeshadow alone would have been enough.

The trick to succeeding in this task is to design something you otherwise wouldn’t be able to submit any other week, and sadly I don’t think you did that. This outfit is fine; it’s cute, compact, modern, everything you want in a simple PR outfit. However I’ve seen enough from you to know this isn’t you at your most creative. The dress is gorgeous, and I love your use of the gold buckles across the stomach. Everything else is quite stock standard, and I feel it doesn’t live up to the smooth, vast, brutalistic beauty that is your source material. Do you have the talent to win this game? Yes, I believe you do… but you won’t get there designing safe stuff.

Let's start from head to toe. That hairstyle I have yet to see anyone wear it in a competition and I applaud you for that. My only flaw with the hair itself is that it could have worked better blonde because if the outfit is dark, the hairstyle should be light.. keep that in mind throughout the competition. The makeup wasn't too much so that's fine. However, I wish the earrings were the same brown color as the coat because it would blend in making it a unique collar shape. I'm looking for designers who can think "unique" and outside the box. I will give credit where credit is due. So with that being said, the design in the chest area I cannot stop looking at because it screams warrior to me and I love a fighter. If the shoes were a bit smaller, the whole look would come together. It's too covered up for not being a gown or having pants worn.

I love your bold red accessories with the shoes, and I'm glad you didn't go as bright as the eyes on the chair as that would have been too much. The jacket you chose is one of the first pieces I actively wore as a fashion statement in retros, so it can be used well, however here it feels like you have just mirrored the back of the chair at best, or your model is wearing a vampire cape at worst. While I understand that you chose the dress and belt for the similarity of texture to the chair, I wish you had chosen one or the other, not both. It just seems like a lot.
I know that a lot of these comments come across as negative, and perhaps that's because when you asked for feedback I said you didn't need to copy everything exactly. You chose to not take that on, and as a result I can't unsee these elements.

This outfit’s nice, but it can be better. I’ll start with what I do like: The religious imagery paired with promiscuous symbolism and a generous showing of skin is really creative. You took a cinematic approach to an otherwise boring piece of furniture. I also enjoy your liberal use of red. However, I feel like you got a little too wrapped up in the novelty of the retro clothing. In my opinion, the best way to use retro clothing is to elevate your design, not sub it out completely. You are one of my favourite new gen designers, and I want everyone reading this LT to grow to love you as much as I do. If you stay true to yourself, I believe they will.

In terms of the saying "hit or miss," this outfit was smack down in the middle. It's great but does it fulfill the task at hand and to be honest, I have conflicting feelings about it. The choice to have no hair for this look was a great one because it wasn't needed. There were plenty of textures to look at itself which brings me to the chest area. The complex textures weren't needed because the pillow is plain. I wish the outfit was more plaid-like because that's what I get when I see the pillow. The point of this task was for people to immediately grasp what chair or sofa was provided to you and make it fashion. The appearance of the skirt is rough which should have been more flat. I do however love the shoe choice and color because it's a great combination to the look and the colors work well together. Also, I'm a sucker for that collar and it was used perfectly. So in conclusion, I have mixed feelings about this look. I know you can do better and you will, I have faith in you!

I always love the intricate patterns you create in your outfits. This design shows complexity in the layering you have gone intro. I would have struggled if I received this chair because of its simplicity - I just simply would not have known were to start. You've used the colour pallete to pay homage to this simplistic picnic patterns on this pillow, however it is very busy which is a start contrast to the style of the original inspiration.
While I am impressed with the design details, I am left wondering if using some lighter red tones would have broken up the large blocks of bright red across the design. Additionally,
I don't find the earrings add anything to the design.*
Overall a structurally complex outfit which I love, but could have best served in another week.

*After reading Peter's critique, I can see the collar potential here. If this was the intention, I can see where you were heading but I still don't feel it was elevated enough to be worth adding.

In a vacuum, this outfit is pretty gorgeous. In this task however, I feel this fails to live up to the beauty and subtlety of the picnic pillow. I will award minor clemency to you as it is a difficult item to work with, but given your impressive legacy, if anyone could’ve rocked it, it should’ve been you. Bright red, no pastels or pinks, is a really strange approach and I still don’t think I understand it. There are also several Habbo clothing items that conveniently have similar patterns to the picnic pillow, and yet you didn’t use them. Maybe you were trying to avoid predictability? Not quite sure. On a positive note I love your textures. The norm feather skirt peeking out from under the maid top is really cool. Diva heels were a great choice too. Definitely some talent and knowledge of technicality on display here, I just wish it was better spent.

Welcome back Harry! I can't say the same for Prettytiara. Anyway, let's begin with this magical piece of art you have here. It's breathtaking! The fact that you have managed to pull this out of your pocket within a very short period of time considering what had happened earlier this week is magical in itself. I appreciate the detailing of the chest area because it reminds me of yellow armor and when I think of heaven, I think of angels with yellow armor alongside their halo's. The texture of the pants is very shiny and smooth like the chair itself which is a huge plus. Attention to detail, attention to detail, attention to detail! The shoes blended was perfect as well. My only critique is that I would have made the yellow light orange to match the chair. Other than that, amazing look. Looking forward to seeing you create more art and make them eat it!

Harry!!!!! I'm so glad you could fill in at short notice. :)
There was a risk with this chair that you could have gone too costumey, and I applaud you, because you did not even enterrtain the idea! Instead you created something which had a rocker feel to it, a bit of a contrast to the chair's angelic qualities, but it works!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your yellow, avante-garde jacket piece, with the feathered cowl's textures alluding to the wings of the chair. I also love the illusion of this collared piece rising up at the back.
Unfortunately, the bottom half of your look has me disappointed. The colour choice does not work for me - it looks like you've thrown your elaborate jacket over a pair of hospital scrubs, which is frankly, jarring.

Haters will say this outfit is too high-fashion and not angelic enough to match the chair… to those haters I bite my thumb! There is something magical and captivating about how you left your entire bottom half smooth, shiny, almost plastic looking. Then of course your intricate textures in yellow up top are to die for. My main criticism of this outfit doesn’t come from what you did, but rather what you didn’t do. With so much yellow texture, I feel like you could’ve gotten away with adding a tertiary colour to the palette to splice it in between, just to give the canvas more depth. Also this is just me, but I feel like a headpiece would’ve served you well. Besides that, good job.

Let me start by saying I'm thrilled to see you participate in this season. I have watched your amazing outfits in CC and I can't wait to see what you offer here. With that being said, this outfit is amazing. I immediately can tell it's the dungeon sofa. The detailing is there because it's clear that the dungeon sofa has rough textures. It looks like someone plastered bricks onto your chest. The obvious approach would be to include the tan lines in the middle of your outfit but instead you managed to include them on the sides which was unique and different. That's what I look for in a designer, uniqueness. My only critiques are that I wish the shoes were different and orange in color. The orange would resemble fire just like this outfit. Also, although the hairstyle was great, I would have loved to see it a lighter color because the outfit is dark. There needs to be a contrast between the two. Other than that, amazing look!

This outfit has a real staunch to it - it's got a heavy build to it stemming from the deep tones and layered materials, making it feel cosy while also appearing a little intimidating - fitting for the dungeon sofa.
I really love the way you have taken inspiration from the spine of the chair and inverted the colours so that you use the dark brooding browns as your centrepiece instead of the brighter gold tones.
I do wish you had chosen a different colour shoe, as the pitch black blends into the chair and not in the way you'd want.
While I enjoy the use of makeup on a model, I feel like the blue eyeshadow doesn't add to the look and instead makes your model appear angry.
Keep up the good work.

I really love your colour coordination, and choice of silhouette. The spiky flower petals jutting from the bottom gives a roughness and an attitude that seems to go hand-in-hand with your assigned seat. I also enjoy how you’re not afraid to use black to either trim a canvas, or block texture. Those long boot heels were a smart addition. My only issue with this outfit comes from the shape and silhouette of the top half: those two items are a common combination in short-terms so it just doesn’t excite me any more, however that’s hardly your fault. A solid submission regardless.

When I first saw this outfit, I said to myself.. someone who plays CC cannot create something as magical as this and I was wrong because you have. The textures from the neck down all work especially the bottom. The shininess of it all brings this look together. When I look at this outfit I think Taj Mahal for some reason. It's very detailed and you have an eye for matching the colors. It's like looking in a mirror. I will say, I LOVE the layering considering layering is my strong suite and you did not disappoint. However, the only thing I would say is that the hair color matches the outfit which wasn't necessary. A blonde hair color would have made this entire look whole because it's lighter and it was needed. It's amazing to the creativity of the designers (such as yourself) who aren't well known in the PR community, coming up with these incredible poses, let alone designs. Overall, this outfit was definitely a stand out.

This look is gorgeous. It blends into the Chair in the best way possible - it's almost as if the chair has been given the direction of "get up and walk" and the model formed from seat then and there.
Your use of the sari to pay homage the patterns on the fabric and the tassels on the pillow is very clever. I wish the green strap on the back was slightly brighter to stand out from the darker tones in the rest of your fabric a little, and while I love coloured hair in general, the matchy matchy of the colour to the clothes isn't helping lift the design.
Amazing work for your first PR submission ever!!

I have never seen you design before, so I’m surprised to see you have a moderate grasp on texture theory. Your Indo-Aryan/Persian patterns are nice and would have been the same approach I’d take for this chair. However, when you have two bright, strong colours fighting each other, you should shrink the canvas (aka show more skin) to contain it, otherwise it becomes overwhelming and the viewer’s eyes get confused. The decision to match your hair to the chair was a poor one, and because of that, it makes the entire outfit look like a messy plate of spaghetti with a single stem of parsley for garnish. An ok concept, but needs more refinement.

EagerGamin, I was indeed eager to see you compete because I have never seen you design before. By the looks of this, you definitely CAN design. This look is incredible. The texture of the top is very icy just like the bad side bench. Also, you can clearly see blue flames sprouting up which is exactly what this look is, fire. The outfit may look cold, but you are hot in it. The walk pose is nice to look at. Also, the texture at the bottom is constructed well because it looks like spikes just like the bottom of the sofa, well done. I will say that I love those eyes on you because I don't see it much. My only critique is that the headpiece wasn't needed. I would have immediately known you were the bad side bench without the use of the headpiece. Other than that, great work!

I am OBSESSED with this look. While your colour choices really only focus on the blue, the two tone palette suits this chair really well. The texture of the top of the dress really conveys that frosty texture seen in the bad side bench. Using a solid black can be risky as you lose some of the detailing of the pieces, but the blending into this solid area works perfectly here and the shoes add a great amount of contrast.
I love the white hairstyle as it adds some attitude without taking away from the impact of the outfit. The blue thorn crown was a risk, but in this instance, I think it paid off.

Mystical, ethereal, dreamlike, just like your assigned furni! Your use of top and jacket are brilliant because they have very subtle design patterns that perfectly imitate the ice crystals that form the seat. I love the brown & black transition, and using spiky clothing to commemorate the spikes on the furni was also smart. You also have my single favourite shoe-to-outfit pairing of the whole week. My main issue, however, is that this outfit teeters very dangerously on the line between Project Runway and CC - a large part of it is due to the crown. This outfit would arguably feel more at home with being worn by a happy 8-year-old as she unwraps her birthday presents, than opposed to a high-fashion runway. Technical merit is on full display, but you need more refinement. Hope this helps you.

I will say, I am glad you listened to your feedback and removed the accessories from the neck up. It was too much especially with all of the details you have on your outfit. It would have been too cluttered. The feathered cowl however was not the right texture for the coffin inspiration. When I look at that coffin, I think of that coat with the two buttons on it. I wish the top half had that texture instead because that coat was smooth with buttons just like the sofa or any coat in that matter but you get my drift. Instead, the cowl makes it look rough which is completely opposite of the coffin's texture. The bottom half is great but what would make it even better is if that trim on the skirt was gold to match the handles. The hairstyle was nice. I just wish it was blonde to contrast the outfit. Overall, this outfit was middle of the road for me. I can't wait to see what you come up with moving forward!

I am a little sad that we didn't see any button work on here, for me that was the standout feature of the chair, but I'm not upset with the outfit you submitted either. The layering of the deep purple with a more pink toned purple is clever because it helps add dimension to the outfit. The belt feels a little heavy and seems like extra fabric for the sake of fabric. Perhaps some editing here would have been beneficial. Additionally, because your outfit has so many dark tones, I wish we had seen some more skin on the legs to break up the colours like you did with the shoulders.

While this outfit doesn’t blow me away, I do enjoy it. It immediately tells me you have talent for making your own colour gradient and feathering it out accordingly. The subtle shift of purple shades is really quite lovely. I love your use of the big, clunky diva heels because they evoke the sharp edges of the coffin base. What could make this outfit better? Perhaps a more original silhouette. Also, there are several Habbo clothing items that I believe could have been used to portray the cushions of your sofa. This is one of the rare occasions where I’d actually endorse the use of that hideous HC puff jacket. Overall though, you did good and I’m thrilled to see what else you show us.

I appreciate the color of the top, the top itself, and the detailing of the gold lines which match the chair. Also, the headpiece looks like coins together which resembles the casino and what I see is a slot chair. But if you don't tell me what your chair is, I wouldn't know. Everything else falls flat for me. Although the hairstyle is not a hairstyle we often view in the PR community, it did not work here and there's no contrast to your outfit between the two. The bottom half is a complete missed opportunity because it's a different texture and fabric than the chair. The chair is more smooth whereas the bottom is more scaly. However, I will say, the scarf was a great touch to the outfit. I just wish you paid more attention to detail as you did with the top half of your outfit. Keep practicing, and in no time, you will beat Snawl in a competition and I'd love to see it!

You have some basic fashion design concepts down, and there are parts of this look that convey these principles well. The layering of the jacket to only show touches of yellow in particular is very clever. The scarf does make it feel like there is too much fabric in this costume, perhaps there was a more subtle way you could have incorporated the black shades you were after, like by using backpack straps. I don't love the hair, it feels a little dated with the modern styled outfit you have going on, compared to the outfit you designed, but learning how to edit these things will come with time.

Given your lack of experience, you actually did better than I expected you to. Using that top to convey the gold trim was a good idea. I’m a fan of the mermaid dress too. However, I definitely think the mermaid dress clashes with your kimono top; the textures do not agree with each other at all, and the top is too bulky compared to the dress. I wish you used a belt to unite the two. The Indian jewels headwear is a neat idea, however it needs more accessories to help incorporate it into the rest of your outfit. Lastly, I wish you chose a more noticeable shoe to go with the mermaid dress, that way we can see more than 2 pixels per foot. This outfit isn’t horrible, but your lack of experience definitely shines through.

Chris, I am so glad to see you here as you were away for quite some time. I did not expect you to slay this hard the first week as you don't have much experience within the PR community. It's very unexpected. There were many different ways you could have made a look with this fabric. I am thrilled to see this outfit because I can see the resemblance to the pillow. I have never seen that top design before and as someone who has made many outfit designs over the years, that's a huge compliment. The way it swerves and connects from the hip to the neck to the face is astonishing. The construction of the pants are very detailed like the pillow. The colors work well together as well. I love the hairstyle and color and since the outfit itself wasn't too dark or light, the color of the hair was appropriate. The minor headpiece is just enough to not go overboard with accessories. All in all, amazing work this week!

This outfit is insane!! I am a sucker for a good back look so I'm always excited when people submit them and this design just makes me so happy to look at!! Everything from the diagonals of the pink fabric swatches, to the subtle splashes of blue and green just works so well and clearly speaks to your source material. I love that we can also see some skin - you didn't go overboard with adding too much fabric which is good because it would have been overwhelming with all the other layering you have used. Well done.

Jesus, Chris. If this is what you’re capable of, I wish you’d come around my Project Runway more than once every 2 years. I am in love with this outfit! The idea to use your bare back as negative space is so crazy, yet it works because the detail on your chair is really sporadic and unforgiving. The different straps and the stethoscope running rampant are gorgeous, and the geometric pants were the best possible choice you could’ve used. This is one of the very few examples of a nature crown strengthening the outfit instead of making it look cheap and tacky. If I’m forced to nitpick, the sideburns could have been incorporated better. Besides that, I think you hit a homerun on this task. Nicely done!

I don't know where to start.
I will start by saying, although Snawl hates that red wig, I adore it but it could've been brighter because your outfit is dark. We don't see red hair often in this fashion industry and I'm a sucker for someone who stands out. I love the pose because I find side-face poses hot. I started with positives, now let's continue with the negatives. Although that was a plus in my book, the Trump tan was not it. It's too distracting from the outfit. It takes away from that whole design because instead of looking at the look, I immediately glare at the tan. It seems as if you aren't wearing the outfit, the outfit is wearing you. The patterns don't match and I wouldn't know which chair you were unless you told me. After looking at your chair, I can see that you were trying to infuse the look with an African style, but to me you fell short. I know you can do better with practice. Practice makes perfect and I can't wait to see your artwork as you progress within this community!

I know you are new to long term, and when I first started out the phrase I HATED hearing was "we've seen this before". My thought process was always, well YOU may have but this is completely original in my mind! That can make it very hard to compete in games against established designers, and unfortunately why my original feedback to you was to be more innovative. I know you have an amazing style on Habbo, and I really want to see you tap into that as we move forward throughout the season.
What I love about this look is the minimalistic nature. You have the scarf as a key focus up the top, perhaps a matching burgundy shirt underneath would have helped transform this scarf into a scoop neck top to create more unity. The skirt has a lot of detail, so you were wise to not add to much on top of it. Finally I think the red hair really ties together the piece bringing home the homage to the chair.
You considered using a black model for this outfit, and while the oompa loompa tan is a LOT, I'm glad you didn't. The lighter model really helps the burgundy tones stand out across the design, however you could have used a model with a lighter skin tone still to further enhance this.

The red wig and Trump tan need to GO. You do not need to colour your skin and hair on these tasks, otherwise you risk looking like a CC costume. That being said, I oddly like this outfit. Your top half has a really interesting silhouette and I enjoy how it’s disjointed and separated from the bottom. Your colour palette is simple but the way in which you meshed them is actually quite beautiful. You seem to have mixed the brown & red to make burgundy. The gown was a smart choice, however I wish you did more to it. A belt, or even platform shoes just to give it some extra life and texture. A passable outfit for me, but I do wanna see you step it up a bit like you did in my game the other week.

All I can say is, [nothing].. as I am speechless. The fact that your first draft outfit before your feedback was amazing and to display this afterwards shows me that you are capable of designing anything as it surpasses the first look. The colors are spot on and the detailing of the flowy dress makes me happy to look at. The light colored hair with a darker outfit is exactly what I was looking for, contrast. You did not over-accessorize and this look was enough. Everything works well together and I don't have anything negative to say about it. The other designers should watch out.. because if you can design this on the first week as a CC player, others beware. The end.

This is absolutely gorgeous. You really captured the homey aspect of the pillow fort without being too overpowering.
In my feedback I mentioned that going for a minimalistic look can be a bold move, and that's because you have to nail every aspect of the design, and I think you have done just that. Your lighter hair lifts the piece which is otherwise darker tones, and your flowing jacket emulates the fabric without falling into the trap of using the tartan sash. Great work here.

This is absolutely wonderful, Azil. I love everything about it. Your colours are perfectly placed, I am living for the subtle shade shift of the blue and how you continued it on the belt. I am in awe of your choice of fabrics; you picked items that replicate the frumpy, bodacious nature of the pillow fort. The earrings and chest icon are very miniscule, but very necessary details that make this outfit fit for the runway and not a CC, this is how you properly refine an outfit! The most difficult colour on the furni was the pastel brown, you omitted it entirely yet I barely noticed it because everything else about this outfit is totally faithful to the furni. Pillow fort was my favourite “seat” of the week, and I was bummed out when I saw it went to you because I questioned your ability to live up to its subtle beauty… and now I’m eating my words because you’ve blown me away. Astonishing work!

TASK ONE VERDICT
Well now THAT'S what I call an opening round! I am very proud of my good friends Peter & Elysse for the level of professionalism on display. This is shaping up to be an unforgettable season. Congratulations to everyone who survived, I hope our feedback helps you improve in your next task. As for me, I won't be back till Week 5; I am curious to see which of y'all will still be kicking around when I return... I have my predictions ;) - Snawl

Winner
Azli, for a new player, you have done exceptionally well! There is a reason we call this newer co-hort up and coming designers and you exemplified this perfectly this week. Well done, and we look forward to seeing what is next from you.
Your score has placed you in first, but you will also be receiving a 50c prize for exceptional outfit as all the judges were blown away by your creation. Well done!

Eliminations
It's always hard when there is a double elimination in the first week, but that is not to say you guys don't have talent.

Cinthia, we love you and your creativity. We know this week was difficult for time as you were away, and perhaps this impacted on your choices when you submitted. Your final look was very you, however it missed the mark for the task.

Seal, you still have some work to do, but I hope that this early elimination does not discourage you, but instead spurs you on to practice more so that we can see you back and fighting in season two!

While we are sad to see you two go so soon, we hope that you continue to work on your outfits and grow, even through this competition.
While you are no longer eligible for the grand prize, you can continue to submit outfits based on the theme after elimination to compete for the Most Improved Designer prize of 100c.

We hope to see you in future short term games inside Habbo, and would happily welcome you back to a future season of Fresh Faces.
