Finals Collection - Elysse
It has been a long and exciting journey to get here. It seems like so long ago when we welcomed eight fresh faces to the world of Habbo Project Runway, to compete against eight established Habbo Project Runway designers in this competition. Our goal was to create a renewed excitement for the game, and encourage all players, old and new, to push themselves, think outside the box, and present us with a new and unique take on Habbo fashion. The quality of work I have seen throughout this whole competition has been so much more than what I could have ever expected, and I am very honoured to have been a part of the journey each and every designer has taken along the way, whether they made it to the semi finals or not. Regardless of who takes home the prize, you are all winners in my eyes, and I look forward to seeing what you create in the future (and maybe even competing against you!)
For those who have made it to the finals, I have one piece of advice: have fun. "Simpler than it sounds" you might say - and yes, that's true. I am coming at this from a hosting perspective where regardless of the collection I have produced, the worst that can happen is ya'll can shade me, but the truth is, what makes a truly great collection, is a cohesive collection of designs that you truly 100% believe in. At least that way you know, regardless of the outcome, you gave it your all.

As an example of me living out my advice, the collection I have created is based around my love for punk rock/grunge aesthetics. Inspired by the pop punk band My Chemical Romance, each outfit resonantes with a song title (and the corresponding music/lyrics) from their discography. For me, fashion is about finding ways to express who you are and what you love in different ways, and I hope you too can achieve this with your collections.
