Welcome our three finalists. For many weeks, you've embarked on such a journey that only you can fully comprehend the complete experience of. This season has taught everyone to step out of comfort zones, create high fashion looks, and throw away what you're used to creating.
It amazes us how new designers in this Project Runway community can come together and construct beautiful unique outfits. Many of the outfits submitted this season were so unexpected to us. It left us wondering, is this possible we could be spoilt with such talent, even from players without as much experience? Yes, it is.. and you three have proven that.
You three deserve recognition for your persistence, drive to learn more, and for your commitment to the competition. This week, the stakes are so high that each of you are leaving here a winner regardless of the outcome.
You each deserve a crown but there can only be one winner of Season 1 of Fresh Faces. Stay tuned and scroll down to find out who has won this first successful season.
Most Consistent Award
Elysse: "To start off the night, we are acknowledging this designer's creativity, dedication, and passion for fashion."
Peeta: "Week after week, this designer has shown amazing works of art and should be praised for it."
Elysse: "We were blessed to have you take part in our season despite circumstances that would've prevented you from competing."
Peeta: "We are proud to present this award for the designer that was the most consistent throughout the competition."
Both: "And the most consistent award goes to..." [drum roll effect]
HARRY!
Most Improved Award
Peeta: "Our next designer blew us away with creations presented throughout the competition."
Elysse: "We are so thrilled and excited to announce who this award belongs to."
Peeta: "This designer was determined to showcase talent we already knew that designer had and we were so happy to see it."
Elysse: "It's our honor to present this award to the most deserving designer. Not only did the designer participate inside the competition, but also competed outside the competition."
Both: "And the most improved award goes to..." [drum roll effect]
Nicole!
Exceptional Outfits Extraordinaire Award
Elysse: "Oh yes, there is another designer that impressed us this season."
Peeta: "Not only did this designer create such amazing outfits, but this designer never gave up."
Elysse: "There were some outfits that were stand outs and they should be acknowledged."
Peeta: "This designer has gained so much respect from both of us. We did not expect such rapid growth as well."
Both: "And the exceptional outfits award goes to..." [drum roll effect]
ANNE!
"In third place..."
Elysse: "It has been an absolute joy to watch the journey of this designer throughout the competition, and while this may not be first place, this is just the beginning for this designer (I hope)! There have been some absolute stunners we have seen from this contestant during the competition, and with time and practice I'm sure a first place ranking is within their reach. I cannot wait to witness that."
Peeta: "This designer was always eager to learn and grow and be the best that she could be. She has had a rocky run throughout this competition. It's been a roller coaster ride with ups and downs but she managed to make it to the end. I am extremely amazed at how much one can learn especially as a new designer in the Project Runway community. You've studied and you've taught yourself really well. I am so happy to have had you in this long-term competition. It takes dedication, persistence, and commitment to make this competition alive and come together which you have contributed in that way and I thank you so much for making this season possible. I can't wait for you to showcase more of your talent and conquer other seasons."

"Final Messages Before Winner is Announced"
RACHEL
Elysse: "You are such a talented individual, and while you can get stuck in your own insecurities at times, you have GREAT ideas which can really blossom under the right light. This competition has shown both sides of you and I hope you have walked away with a new confidence, because frankly, you deserved to be in this final 3, and no one can tell you otherwise."
Peeta: "Rachel, this competition really has given you the opportunity to grow, improve, and design more high fashion looks than just costume looks. You've allowed yourself time and patience to get to where you are now. I couldn't be happier to see you here in this finale. Were your outfits the best compared to some other designer's outfits? No. However, you still didn't let that bother or phase you. People have tried their hardest to bring you down but it didn't affect you. To me, that's a strong competitor.. trust me I'm used to that so I know the feeling. You've managed to keep your head held high and deliver amazing outfits. I applaud you for your hard work and commitment in the competition. Keep practicing and you'll be unstoppable in no time. I'm glad you stuck it out and I appreciate you as not only a designer, but a person."
ASHLYN
Elysse: "While you started this season as an established designer, as a fairly new player in the game myself I wasn't quite sure what to expect. You have the experience behind you to KNOW what your style is and that helped keep you grounded throughout this competition. It has been amazing to watch what you turned in each week, and while they all had that flair that is unique to you, they still offered us range and this is what we craved from every single designer. I am glad to have gotten to understand your style for the first time through this long term because it helped me look deeper into each outfit you submitted and understand your style and where it has come from rather than just letting it wash over me."
Peeta: "Ashlyn, you've had a roller coaster ride throughout this season. Despite the road blocks you've encountered in this competition, you've managed to conquer them. There was one week where you fell, but you got back up and continued to fight. From then on, you've created such amazing outfits week after week. Did you deserve to be here in this finale despite not having at least one win under your belt? Heck yeah. Everyone is deserving even without a win as long as you stay committed which you have. I'm so thankful that you've taken this ride with us for many weeks and to see where you are now... I'm so thrilled and excited that you've grown throughout your journey within the Project Runway community.
